  • 1 pound ground turkey
  • 1/2 cup shredded Parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 cup panko bread crumbs
  • 1/2 cup sliced fresh basil leaves
  • 1 large egg, lightly beaten
  • 1 pinch salt and ground black pepper to taste
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning

In a large mixing bowl, combine 1/2 cup of diced tomatoes and use a fork to gently break them up. Then, add the turkey, Parmesan cheese, bread crumbs, basil, egg, salt, and pepper to the bowl. Mix everything together until just combined, being careful not to overmix.
