- 1 green bell pepper, sliced
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 2 tablespoons cornstarch
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons lemon juice
- 1 (3 pound) bag frozen cooked meatballs, thawed

Combine pineapple chunks with their juice in a saucepan and add the diced green bell pepper, brown sugar, cornstarch, soy sauce, and lemon juice. Stir until the sugar and cornstarch have fully incorporated into the mixture.

Heat the saucepan over high heat, bringing the mixture to a rolling boil. Continue cooking and stirring constantly until the sauce has thickened to your liking, approximately 10 minutes.

Transfer the cooked meatballs to a slow cooker and pour the pineapple sauce over them. Cook on medium heat for 2 hours, stirring every 30 minutes to prevent scorching.
