Philly Steak Griddle Sandwiches
Ingredients
  • 1 (8 ounce) can sliced mushrooms, drained
  • 1 small onion, sliced
  • 1 green bell pepper, seeded and sliced into strips
  • 8 slices provolone cheese
  • salt to taste
  • seasoned salt to taste
  • 1 pound thinly sliced roast beef
  • 4 submarine rolls, halved
Instructions
1
Heat up the electric griddle or stovetop griddle to a medium-high temperature; lightly coat the surface with oil. Divide the cooking space in half, placing the sliced mushrooms, chopped onions, and diced peppers on one side of the griddle. On the other half, position the roast beef slices. Cook each component separately, breaking up the beef into smaller pieces as it cooks and sprinkling with salt and seasoned salt for added flavor.
2
Once the vegetables are tender and the beef is hot, place slices of melted provolone cheese over the cooked roast beef. Switch off the griddle and transfer the cheesy, grilled beef to a plate or tray. Assemble the sandwiches by placing the cooked beef, mushrooms, onions, and peppers inside the sandwich rolls.
