- 1 1/4 cups matzo cake meal
- 1 1/4 cups chopped walnuts

Preheat your oven to the desired temperature, which is 325 degrees Fahrenheit or 165 degrees Celsius.

Next, take a 9x13-inch baking pan and apply a thin layer of grease to it. This will prevent the cake from sticking to the pan during baking.

In a large mixing bowl, combine sugar and eggs using an electric mixer. Beat the mixture until it becomes smooth and creamy.

Add oil to the bowl and continue mixing until well combined.

Mix in cocoa powder, followed by matzo cake meal. If using nuts, fold them into the mixture at this stage; otherwise, sprinkle them on top of the cake before baking.
