Pear and Blue Cheese Pizza
Ingredients
  • 1 pre-baked pizza crust
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 2 sprigs fresh rosemary, chopped
  • 1/4 cup white wine vinegar
  • 1/2 cup olive oil
  • 1/4 cup crumbled blue cheese
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 1/3 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 2 pears - peeled, cored and sliced
  • 1/4 cup toasted walnut pieces
Instructions
1
Preheat the oven to a high temperature of 425 degrees Fahrenheit, or 220 degrees Celsius, for optimal results.
2
Position the pizza crust on a suitable baking dish, designed specifically for pizzas.
3
Bake the pizza in the preheated oven until it reaches a golden brown color, but still retains some crispiness, approximately 5 minutes.
4
Simultaneously, combine minced garlic, Dijon mustard, dried rosemary leaves, and white vinegar in a food processor or blender. Process the ingredients until they form a smooth paste, then gradually add olive oil while continuously blending until the desired consistency is achieved. Introduce 1/4 cup of crumbled blue cheese into the mixture and season with salt and pepper to taste.
5
Apply the prepared vinaigrette dressing evenly over the pizza crust, followed by a generous sprinkling of remaining 1/4 cup blue cheese. Add shredded mozzarella cheese on top, along with sliced pears and chopped walnuts.
6
Bake the pizza in the preheated oven until the cheese is melted, bubbly, and golden brown, taking approximately 7 to 10 minutes. Allow the pizza to cool slightly before cutting it into slices.
