- 1 ripe banana, mashed
- 1/3 cup smooth peanut butter
- 1 large egg
- 1 tablespoon canola oil
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Heat the griddle over a moderate temperature for about 10 minutes before use.

Mix together flour, baking powder, sugar, and salt in a large mixing container. In another bowl, blend milk, mashed banana, peanut butter, egg, oil, and vanilla extract until well combined. Gradually pour the wet ingredients into the dry mixture and whisk until everything is fully incorporated.

Pour the batter in small portions, about 1/4 cup each, onto the preheated griddle and cook until tiny air bubbles appear on top, taking around 2 to 5 minutes; flip and continue cooking until the bottom is golden brown, another 2 to 3 minutes. Transfer the pancakes to a plate and cover it with a lid to keep them warm. Repeat the process with the remaining batter.
