Ingredients
- 1 (10 ounce) package frozen unsweetened raspberries, thawed
- 1 (10 ounce) package frozen unsweetened sliced peaches
- 1 1/3 cups white sugar, divided
- 6 tablespoons all-purpose flour
- 1 (14.1 ounce) package double crust pie pastry, thawed
Instructions
1
First, preheat your oven to a high temperature of 450 degrees Fahrenheit or 230 degrees Celsius.
2
Meanwhile, combine the sweet and juicy flavors of raspberries, peaches, 1 cup of sugar, and a pinch of flour in a large mixing bowl until they come together harmoniously.
3
Next, place one pie crust into a 9-inch round baking dish and fill it with the fruit mixture you've just created.
4
Then, sprinkle a generous amount of sugar over the top of the fruit mixture to add an extra layer of sweetness.
5
Using cookie cutters, create unique designs on the second pie crust by cutting out shapes with a sharp edge.
6
Now, carefully place the scored pie crust over the fruit mixture and press the edges together to form a tight seal.
7
After that, pop the pie into your preheated oven for 10 minutes to start the baking process.
8
However, reduce the oven temperature to a moderate heat of 375 degrees Fahrenheit or 190 degrees Celsius and continue baking until the crust turns golden brown and the filling is bubbly, taking approximately 35 minutes longer.
9
Finally, remove your pie from the oven and let it cool down before serving.
