Peach Dump Cake
Ingredients
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 1 cup self-rising flour
  • 1 cup white sugar
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon, plus more for sprinkling
  • 1 (20 ounce) can sliced peaches, undrained
Instructions
1
Preheat your oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit (175 degrees Celsius). Place butter in a 1 1/2-quart baking dish and place it inside the oven to soften while it heats up.
2
Remove the softened butter from the oven and set it aside for a few minutes to cool, approximately 5 minutes.
3
In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, milk, and 1 teaspoon of ground cinnamon until they form a cohesive mixture. Gently pour the batter into the center of the melted, cooled butter; be careful not to mix. Pour sliced peaches and their juice into the center of the batter, again avoiding any mixing.
4
Sprinkle a small amount of ground cinnamon on top, gradually increasing the quantity as desired.
5
Bake the dish in the preheated oven until it reaches a golden brown color and bubbles on the surface, taking anywhere from 30 to 60 minutes; the cooking time will depend on the moisture levels of the ingredients.
