Ingredients
- 2 eggs
- 1 teaspoon milk
- 1/2 teaspoon minced garlic
- salt to taste
- 1/2 teaspoon pepper
- 1 cup vegetable oil for frying
- 8 thin cut boneless pork chops
- 1 1/2 cups panko crumbs
Instructions
1
Combine eggs, milk, garlic, salt, and pepper in a medium-sized bowl until the ingredients are thoroughly incorporated. Heat oil in a large, heavy-bottomed skillet over high heat. Prepare the panko crumbs by placing them in a shallow dish.
2
Dip each pork chop into the egg mixture, ensuring it is well-coated, then coat with a layer of panko crumbs. Repeat the process by dipping the pork chop into the egg mixture again, followed by another layer of panko crumbs. Arrange the coated pork chops on a plate until all have been prepared, allowing for about 10 minutes of resting time if possible. This will enable the coating to set effectively.
3
Once the oil has reached a very high temperature, carefully place the pork chops into the pan. Fry for approximately 5 minutes on each side, or until they achieve a golden-brown color.
