Ingredients
- 1/2 cup chicken broth
- 1/3 cup balsamic vinegar
- 2 tablespoons white sugar
- 1 teaspoon dried Italian herb seasoning
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 4 skinless, boneless chicken breast halves
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
Instructions
1
Acquire the necessary components.
2
Combine chicken broth, balsamic vinegar, sugar, Italian seasoning, and garlic in a bowl. Submerge chicken breasts into the mixture; allow them to soak for 10 minutes on each side.
3
Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Extract the chicken from its marinade; set the remaining marinade aside. Position the chicken in the hot skillet and cook until it develops a brown color on both sides and reaches an internal temperature of at least 165 degrees F (74 degrees C), approximately 7 minutes per side.
4
Pour the reserved marinade into the skillet. Cook until the sauce thickens slightly, flipping the chicken breasts over occasionally, about 5 minutes.
