Ingredients
- 2 pounds ground beef
- 1 pound pork sausage
- 3 eggs
- 1/2 cup ketchup
- 1 cup fresh bread crumbs
- salt and ground black pepper to taste
- 2 tablespoons ketchup

Preheat your oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit, or 175 degrees Celsius, for optimal results.

Mix all the main ingredients in a large bowl - ground beef, sausage, eggs, and 1/2 cup of ketchup - until they are thoroughly combined.

Add some bread crumbs to the mixture and blend everything together until it's smooth and even.

Take the mixture and shape it into a rectangular loaf, placing it in a 9x5 inch loaf pan.

Add an extra layer of flavor to the top of the loaf by spreading 2 tablespoons of ketchup evenly over the surface.

Place the loaf in a preheated oven and bake for 1 hour and 30 minutes, or until it's cooked to perfection.
