Ingredients
- 2 egg whites
- 1 pinch salt
- 2/3 cup white sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup semisweet chocolate chips
- 1 cup salted peanuts
Instructions
1
Preheat your oven to a high temperature of 350 degrees Fahrenheit or 175 degrees Celsius.
2
To prevent the cookies from sticking, line your cookie sheets with a heat-resistant material such as parchment paper or aluminum foil.
3
In a large, clean mixing bowl made of glass or metal, whip the egg whites and salt until they become light and airy.
4
Gradually introduce sugar into the mixture, continuing to whip until the egg whites become stiff and hold their shape.
5
Combine the vanilla extract with the whipped egg whites, then fold in the chocolate chips and peanuts if desired.
6
Spoon the cookie dough onto the prepared cookie sheets, making sure to leave enough space between each cookie.
7
Place the cookies in the preheated oven and immediately shut the door.
8
However, instead of turning off the oven, let it sit in a state of dormancy for 5 to 6 hours or overnight.
