- 1 (8 ounce) package baby carrots
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
- 2 tablespoons balsamic vinegar

Preheat your oven to a high temperature of 425 degrees Fahrenheit (220 degrees Celsius).

Cover a large rectangular baking dish with aluminum foil and set it aside for later use.

To prepare the carrots, place them in a sealed plastic bag along with olive oil, salt, and pepper. Seal the bag tightly to ensure everything stays inside; if you don't have a resealable plastic bag, use an alternative container. Mix the ingredients together until they are evenly coated.

Pour the carrots into the prepared baking dish, making sure to fill it completely.

Bake the carrots in the preheated oven until they are tender, which should take around 30 minutes.

Once the carrots are cooked, sprinkle some balsamic vinegar over them; make sure to cover the entire surface. Shake the dish gently to distribute the vinegar evenly.
