Oven-Baked Teriyaki Chicken Thighs
Ingredients
  • 1/2 cup white sugar
  • 1/2 cup soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup cider vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 1 tablespoon cold water
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground ginger
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 12 boneless, skinless chicken thighs
Instructions
1
Preheat your oven to 425 degrees Fahrenheit.
2
Next, lightly coat a 9x13-inch baking dish with non-stick cooking spray.
3
In a small saucepan, whisk together sugar, soy sauce, apple cider vinegar, cornstarch, cold water, minced garlic, grated ginger, and black pepper over low heat.
4
Allow the mixture to simmer, stirring constantly, until it reaches a thickened and bubbly consistency, approximately 3-5 minutes.
5
Remove the saucepan from the heat source.
6
Arrange chicken thighs in the prepared baking dish.
7
Dip both sides of each thigh into the reserved teriyaki sauce, coating them evenly.
8
Place the chicken in the preheated oven for 30 minutes.
9
Turn the chicken over and brush both sides with the remaining sauce.
10
Continue baking, periodically basting the chicken with the extra sauce every 10 minutes, until it reaches a fully cooked state and no longer appears pink, with juices flowing freely.
11
Serve the chicken hot and indulge in your delicious meal!
