  • 8 skinless, boneless chicken breast halves
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 4 fresh peaches - peeled, pitted, and sliced
  • 1/8 teaspoon ground ginger
  • 1/8 teaspoon ground cloves
  • 2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice

Next, lightly coat the interior of a 9x13 inch baking dish with a thin layer of oil or cooking spray to prevent the chicken from sticking.

Place boneless, skinless chicken breasts in the prepared baking dish. Then, sprinkle a generous amount of brown sugar, approximately half a cup, evenly over the top of the chicken.

Following that, arrange sliced peaches on top of the brown sugar-covered chicken. Sprinkle the remaining half a cup of brown sugar, along with some ground ginger and whole cloves, over the peaches. Finally, squeeze a few drops of lemon juice over the entire mixture.
