Old Bay Shrimp Alfredo
Ingredients
  • 1/2 cup olive oil
  • 4 cloves garlic, chopped, or to taste
  • 1 pound jumbo shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 3 tablespoons seafood seasoning (such as Old Bay®)
  • 1 tablespoon crushed red pepper flakes, or to taste
  • 1 (16 ounce) package angel hair pasta
  • 1/2 cup Alfredo sauce, or as needed
  • 1 tablespoon freshly squeezed lemon juice
Instructions
1
Preheat a large skillet over low heat, allowing the oil to warm up. Introduce minced garlic into the skillet and cook until it emits a pleasant aroma, approximately 1 minute. Add succulent shrimp to the skillet and sprinkle with a blend of seafood spices; mix until the shrimp are evenly coated. Add a pinch of heat with red pepper flakes and cook until the shrimp have developed a vibrant pink hue on the outside and the meat is opaque, taking around 10 to 15 minutes.
2
In a separate pot, bring a substantial amount of salted water to a rolling boil. Cook delicate angel hair pasta in the boiling water, stirring occasionally, until it reaches an optimal level of tenderness yet still retains a slight firmness to the bite, approximately 4 to 5 minutes. Drain the pasta.
3
Combine the cooked angel hair pasta with the skillet containing the shrimp and olive oil, mixing until they are fully incorporated. Introduce a rich and creamy Alfredo sauce into the skillet, stirring gently to combine. Finish by drizzling a squeeze of lemon juice over the dish
