Combine ground chicken, 1/4 cup of breadcrumbs, finely chopped onion, egg, and minced garlic in a bowl. Add a pinch of salt and pepper to enhance the flavor.

Wet your hands and form the chicken mixture, 2 tablespoons at a time, into flat, oval-shaped patties.

Prepare another shallow dish with the remaining 1/4 cup of breadcrumbs. Dip each patty into the breadcrumb mixture to coat evenly.
