- 2 tablespoons butter
- 6 ounces mozzarella cheese, sliced

Position half of the mushrooms in a standard-sized baking dish measuring 9x13 inches.

To prepare the coating mixture, combine eggs in a shallow container and bread crumbs in another shallow dish. Dip each piece of chicken into the beaten eggs, followed by a gentle coating with bread crumbs.

In a medium-sized skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Cook the coated chicken pieces until they are golden brown on both sides.
