- 1 cup plain yogurt
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1/2 cup vegetable oil
- 1 large egg
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Acquire all necessary ingredients.

Preheat your oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit (200 degrees Celsius). Place a sheet of paper into each of the 12 muffin cups to create liners.

In a large mixing container, merge flour, sugar, three-quarters cup of chocolate chips, cocoa powder, and baking soda.

Using a separate mixing vessel, blend yogurt, milk, oil, egg, and vanilla extract until the mixture is smooth and free of lumps.

Gradually pour the yogurt mixture into the chocolate mixture, stirring until the batter is just combined and not overmixed.

Fill each prepared muffin cup three-quarters full with the chocolate batter, then sprinkle a quarter cup of additional chocolate chips on top.
