  • 2 teaspoons brown sugar
  • 1 orange, juiced
  • 1 banana, split lengthwise
  • 2 scoops vanilla ice cream
  • 2 tablespoons sliced almonds, toasted

Melt butter, brown sugar, and orange juice in a skillet over medium heat. As the butter becomes liquid, introduce the banana into the mixture. Continue to cook until the banana has become tender and the sauce has thickened slightly, flipping the banana occasionally, approximately 2 minutes.
