Place delicata squash halves, cut-sides facing downwards, in a microwave-safe container. Pour in vegetable broth and sprinkle with salt to enhance flavor. Cover the bowl with a lid to trap heat and moisture

Microwave on high for 8 minutes, or until the squash can be easily pierced with a knife. Remove the lid carefully and pour off excess broth
