- 1 cup quinoa, rinsed
- 1/2 cup olive oil
- 1/3 cup sliced Kalamata olives
- 1/3 cup crumbled feta cheese
- 1/3 cup halved cherry tomatoes
- 2 tablespoons shredded fresh basil leaves

Begin by placing water and quinoa in a saucepan over high heat. Wait for the mixture to reach a rolling boil, then decrease the heat to a low-medium setting and cover the saucepan. Continue cooking until the quinoa is soft and has absorbed all the water, typically taking 15-20 minutes.

Transfer the cooked quinoa to a spacious serving container and allow it to cool down completely before proceeding.

Next, drizzle a generous amount of olive oil over the cooled quinoa and gently stir it in. Combine the olives, crumbled feta cheese, diced tomatoes, and chopped basil into the quinoa mixture by gently folding them together.
