SERVINGS

Ingredients
- 8 (10 ounce) packages rotini pasta
- 1 (24 ounce) jar prepared marinara sauce
- 1 cup water
- 1/2 cup prepared pizza sauce
- 1/2 cup milk
- 10 frozen cooked meatballs, thawed
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese, or to taste
Instructions
1
To begin, preheat your oven to a high temperature of 425 degrees Fahrenheit (220 degrees Celsius).
2
Next, combine the rotini pasta, marinara sauce, water, pizza sauce, and milk in a large mixing bowl. Stir the ingredients together until they are well combined.
3
Pour the pasta mixture into a deep, oven-safe baking dish. Ensure that all of the rotini is covered with the sauce to prevent it from drying out during cooking.
4
Cover the dish tightly with aluminum foil to retain heat and moisture.
5
Place the dish in the preheated oven for 20 minutes. After this initial baking time, remove the foil and arrange the meatballs on top of the pasta mixture. Gently push them partially into the sauce to create a layered effect.
6
Cover the dish again with foil and return it to the oven for an additional 20-30 minutes, or until the pasta is tender yet still retains some firmness when bitten into.
7
Remove the foil and sprinkle a generous amount of Parmesan cheese over the top of the pasta.
8
Return the dish to the oven for a final 5 minutes, allowing the cheese to melt and bubble.
9
Once the timer goes off, remove the dish from the oven and let it cool for 5 minutes before serving.
10
Note: The cooking time may vary depending on the specific oven and the desired level of doneness.
