Ingredients
  • 1 tablespoon mayonnaise, divided
  • 2 slices white bread
  • 2 slices American cheese
  • 1 slice pepperjack cheese

Apply a generous amount of mayonnaise to one half of the bread slice, making sure to cover it evenly.

Place the modified bread slice, mayonnaise side down, into a hot skillet over medium heat.

Add slices of American and pepper Jack cheese on top of the bread in the skillet.

Spread a similar amount of mayonnaise onto the other half of the remaining bread slice, ensuring it's well-coated.

Carefully position the second bread slice, mayonnaise side up, on top of the cheese in the skillet.

Cook the sandwich in the skillet for approximately 2 1/2 minutes on each side, or until the cheese has melted and the bread is a golden brown color.
