Ingredients
- cooking spray (such as Pam®)
- 1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese, softened
- 1 (8 ounce) container sour cream
- 1/4 cup creamy salad dressing
- 1/2 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1 teaspoon seafood seasoning (such as Old Bay®), or to taste
- 2 cups fresh lump crabmeat, or more to taste
- 1/2 cup grated Cheddar cheese
- 2 small baguette loaves, sliced into about 4 to 5 pieces each
Instructions
1
Begin by preheating your oven to a high temperature of 350 degrees Fahrenheit (175 degrees Celsius). Next, take a glass loaf pan and lightly coat it with cooking spray to prevent the dip from sticking.
2
In a separate bowl, combine softened cream cheese, sour cream, mayonnaise, Worcestershire sauce, and seafood seasoning. Mix these ingredients together until they are well incorporated.
3
Gently fold in the crabmeat into the cheese mixture, taking care not to break up the lumps.
4
Pour the crab and cheese mixture into the prepared loaf pan, followed by a layer of Cheddar cheese on top.
5
Place the loaf pan in the preheated oven and bake until the dip is hot, bubbly, and slightly golden brown on top. This should take around 20 minutes.
6
During the last 5 minutes of baking, place baguette slices on an oven rack to toast them. This will add a crispy texture and a delicious flavor to your snack.
