Ingredients
- 3 cups white chocolate chips
- 1 (14 ounce) can sweetened condensed milk
- 1/4 cup butter
- 1 teaspoon maple flavored extract
- 1 1/2 cups broken walnuts
Instructions
1
Preheat your oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit and grease an 8x8-inch glass baking dish. Place an 8x12-inch sheet of parchment paper across the bottom of the dish, allowing the excess to drape over the edges.
2
Next, combine white chocolate, sweetened condensed milk, and butter in a microwave-safe glass or ceramic bowl. Heat the mixture in 30-second increments, stirring after each interval to ensure even melting. This process should take anywhere from 1 to 3 minutes, depending on your microwave's power level. Be cautious not to overheat the chocolate, as it will scorch and lose its quality.
3
Once the mixture has reached the desired consistency, stir in a hint of maple extract until it's just combined. Then, add some chopped walnuts to the mixture.
4
Pour the fudge mixture into the prepared baking dish and refrigerate it until it has set, approximately 1 hour. To remove the fudge from the dish, carefully lift up the parchment paper, and then cut it into squares.
