Ingredients
- 1 tablespoon olive oil, or to taste
- 1 cup pure maple syrup
- 1/4 cup low-sodium soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons garlic-infused olive oil
- 1 tablespoon ginger powder
- 1 teaspoon sesame seeds
- 1 teaspoon ground black pepper
- 1 teaspoon ground cayenne pepper
- 2 pounds skinless, boneless chicken thighs
- 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley, or to taste
Instructions
1
Preheat your oven to the desired temperature of 350 degrees Fahrenheit, or equivalently 175 degrees Celsius.
2
Next, lightly coat a baking dish with olive oil to prevent the chicken from sticking during cooking.
3
To prepare the marinade, combine maple syrup, soy sauce, garlic oil, ginger powder, sesame seeds, black pepper, and cayenne pepper in a bowl.
4
Arrange the chicken thighs in the prepared baking dish, making sure they are evenly spaced.
5
Pour the maple sauce over the top of the chicken thighs and use tongs or gloved hands to coat them evenly.
6
Cover the baking dish with aluminum foil and place it in the preheated oven for 40 minutes.
7
After removing the baking dish from the oven, carefully lift the foil to reveal the chicken. Flip the thighs over and continue baking for an additional 15 minutes, or until they reach a safe internal temperature of 200 degrees Fahrenheit.
8
Once the chicken is cooked, flip it again and sprinkle with fresh parsley. Finally, let the chicken rest for 10 minutes before serving.
