Maple Cinnamon Roll Casserole
Ingredients
  • 1/2 cup butter, melted
  • 2 (12.4 ounce) cans refrigerated cinnamon rolls with icing (such as Pillsbury® Refrigerated Cinnamon Rolls with Icing)
  • 6 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 1 cup chopped pecans
  • 1/2 cup maple syrup
Instructions
1
Collect all necessary ingredients and prepare the oven for baking.
2
Preheat your oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit (or 175 degrees Celsius, if using a different scale).
3
Melt butter in the oven-safe glass baking dish (such as Pyrex) and set it aside.
4
Cut each cinnamon roll into 8 equal pieces and place them at the bottom of the dish.
5
Reserve the icing for later use.
6
In a large bowl, whisk eggs until well-beaten.
7
Add heavy cream, cinnamon, and vanilla extract to the bowl and mix until smooth; pour this mixture over the cinnamon rolls.
8
Sprinkle chopped pecans on top of the casserole and drizzle with maple syrup.
9
Place the dish in the preheated oven and bake until golden brown, approximately 25 minutes.
10
Remove the dish from the oven and let it cool for 15 minutes.
11
Microwave the reserved icing for 10 to 15 seconds; pour it over the cooled casserole.
12
Serve the warm dessert and indulge in its delightful flavors!
