- 1 tablespoon fresh basil, minced
- 1 cup grated Romano cheese

Take a large baking sheet and arrange slices of French bread in a uniform pattern, covering the entire surface.

Place the baking sheet under the broiler and toast the bread for 1 to 2 minutes on each side, or until it reaches a light golden brown color. Remove the bread from the oven.

In a separate, medium-sized bowl, combine diced mango and fresh basil leaves. Mix the ingredients together until they are evenly distributed.

Take each bread slice and top it with an equal amount of the mango-basil mixture. Sprinkle a generous amount of Romano cheese over the top, adjusting the quantity to your personal preference.
