Ingredients
- 1 cup butter, softened
- 3/4 cup packed light brown sugar
- 1/2 cup white sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 teaspoon almond extract
- 2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup coarsely chopped macadamia nuts
- 1 cup coarsely chopped white chocolate
Instructions
1
Preheat your oven to a high temperature of 350 degrees Fahrenheit (175 degrees Celsius).
2
Take butter, brown sugar, and white sugar and mix them together in a large bowl using an electric mixer until they have reached a light and fluffy consistency.
3
Add eggs one at a time to the bowl, beating well after each addition, then stir in vanilla and almond extracts.
4
In a separate bowl, combine flour, baking soda, and salt. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the butter mixture, stirring until well combined.
5
Fold in macadamia nuts and white chocolate into the dough.
6
Scoop spoonfuls of the dough onto ungreased cookie sheets, leaving about 2 inches of space between each cookie.
7
Bake the cookies in the preheated oven until they are golden brown, taking around 10 minutes to achieve this.
