Low Country Seafood Boil
Ingredients
  • 1 tablespoon seafood seasoning (such as Old Bay®), or to taste
  • 5 pounds new potatoes
  • 3 (16 ounce) packages cooked kielbasa sausage, cut into 1 inch pieces
  • 8 ears fresh corn, husks and silks removed
  • 5 pounds whole crab, broken into pieces
  • 4 pounds fresh shrimp, peeled and deveined
Instructions
1
Collect all necessary components for the dish.
2
Heat a substantial container of water using an outdoor cooking device, or on the stovetop over a moderate to high heat level. Introduce seafood seasoning according to your preference and stir until it reaches a rolling boil.
3
Add diced potatoes and sliced sausage to the pot, cooking for approximately 10 minutes or until they reach your desired level of tenderness.
4
Separate corn cobs into halves; add frozen corn kernels and crab meat to the pot, continuing to cook for an additional 5 minutes.
5
Introduce shrimp into the mixture when potatoes are almost fully cooked and all other ingredients have reached their desired level of doneness; cook for an additional 3 to 4 minutes, or until the shrimp are cooked through.
6
Discard the used water and pour the remaining contents onto a prepared outdoor serving area, covering it with newspaper for easy cleanup.
