Lobster Tail with Crab Stuffing
Ingredients
  • 2 lobster tails, split along the center top
  • 2 teaspoons butter, melted
  • 1/2 cup jumbo lump crabmeat
  • 1/4 cup clarified butter, at room temperature
  • 15 buttery round crackers, crushed
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley leaves
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon seafood seasoning (such as Old Bay®)
  • 1 teaspoon lemon zest
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt, or to taste
  • 1/4 teaspoon freshly ground white pepper, or to taste
Instructions
1
Collect all the necessary components and heat your oven to a high temperature of 425 degrees Fahrenheit (220 degrees Celsius).
2
Separate the lobster shell halves by pulling them apart and carefully lift the tail meat to place above the shells. Arrange the tails on a baking dish and anoint them with melted butter.
3
Combine crabmeat, clarified butter, crushed crackers, parsley, lemon juice, seafood seasoning, lemon zest, garlic, salt, and pepper in a bowl and thoroughly blend the ingredients until they are perfectly combined.
4
Fill each tail with half of the mixture, pressing it gently to ensure the filling stays in place.
5
Bake the filled lobster tails in the preheated oven until the meat is fully opaque and the top layer of the stuffing is a golden brown color, taking around 10 to 12 minutes. Use an instant-read thermometer to check the internal temperature of the thickest part of the lobster tail, aiming for 145 degrees Fahrenheit (65 degrees Celsius).
