Ingredients
- 1 1/2 cups uncooked white rice
- 3 tablespoons sesame oil
- 1 small onion, chopped
- 1 clove garlic, chopped
- 1 cup small shrimp - peeled and deveined
- 1/2 cup diced ham
- 1 cup chopped cooked chicken breast
- 2 stalks celery, chopped
- 2 carrots - peeled and diced
- 1 green bell pepper, chopped
- 1/2 cup green peas
- 1 egg, beaten
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
Instructions
1
Prepare the rice according to the instructions provided on the package label. Meanwhile, heat a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat. Pour in sesame oil and sauté the onion until it reaches a golden color, then add garlic and continue cooking until it is lightly browned. Next, combine the shrimp, ham, and chicken in the skillet and cook until the shrimp turns pink.
2
Reduce the heat to medium and add the celery, carrot, green pepper, and peas to the skillet. Continue cooking until these vegetables are crisp-tender.
3
In a separate bowl, beat an egg and then stir it into the skillet. Cook for just enough time to make the egg scrambled and firm.
4
Once the rice is cooked, combine it with the vegetables in the skillet. Stir in soy sauce and adjust the seasoning to your liking before serving the dish hot.
