- 1/4 cup packed brown sugar
- 1 cup chopped fresh strawberries

Preheat your oven to a hot temperature of 375 degrees Fahrenheit, or 190 degrees Celsius. Prepare a muffin tin by lining it with paper inserts to prevent sticking.

In a separate container, gently combine the oil, milk, egg, and lemon juice in a smooth motion. In another container, blend together the lemon zest, all-purpose flour, whole wheat flour, salt, baking powder, white sugar, and brown sugar until well combined.

Mix the sliced strawberries into the dry ingredients to create a uniform mixture. Gradually pour in the oil mixture until the batter reaches the desired consistency.

Fill each muffin cup with the batter, leaving about 3/4 of an inch at the top. Place the muffin tin in the preheated oven and bake for 25 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center of a muffin comes out clean and dry.
