1 serving
Lemon Garlic Wine Chicken
Ingredients
  • 1 skinless, boneless chicken breast half - pounded thin
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
  • ground black pepper to taste
  • 1/2 tablespoon chopped garlic
  • 4 mushrooms, chopped
  • 1/2 lemon
  • 1 1/2 cups Chablis or other dry white wine
  • 2 tablespoons butter, room temperature
  • 2 ounces cooked angel hair pasta
Instructions
1
Heat a medium-sized skillet over high heat, adding the required amount of oil for frying.
2
Dredge a chicken breast in flour, coating it evenly on both sides, and gently place it into the hot skillet.
3
Add a pinch of pepper to taste, allowing its flavor to complement the dish.
4
Cook the chicken breast for 3-4 minutes on one side, or until it reaches a golden brown color.
5
Flip the chicken over to its presentation side and add minced garlic, sliced mushrooms, juice from half a lemon, and a splash of wine to the skillet.
6
Combine all the ingredients by stirring them together, allowing their flavors to meld.
7
Increase the heat in the skillet as high as possible and let the liquid mixture reduce, leaving approximately 1/4 cup of sauce remaining in the skillet.
8
Carefully remove the cooked chicken breast from the skillet and add room temperature butter to it.
9
Stir the butter into the sauce, allowing it to incorporate and thicken slightly, before pouring it over the chicken breast.
