  • 1 (15.25 ounce) package lemon cake mix
  • 1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese, cubed
  • 1/2 cup salted butter, cut into small pieces
  • 1 (8 ounce) container frozen whipped topping (such as Cool Whip®), thawed

Preheat your oven to the desired temperature of 350 degrees Fahrenheit (175 degrees Celsius).

Spray a 9x13-inch baking dish with non-stick cooking spray to prevent the cake from sticking.

Evenly distribute the lemon pie filling across the bottom of your prepared baking dish using a spatula.
