Lemon and Parsley Baked Salmon
Ingredients
  • 6 tablespoons light olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon dried basil
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 2 (6 ounce) fillets salmon
Instructions
1
Combine olive oil, minced garlic, freshly squeezed lemon juice, chopped parsley, and basil leaves in a medium-sized bowl. Add salt and pepper to taste, stirring until well incorporated.
2
Place salmon fillets in a small glass or ceramic container; pour the marinade over the fish, making sure each piece is coated. Cover the dish and refrigerate for approximately 1 hour, flipping the salmon occasionally.
3
Preheat your oven to a temperature of 375 degrees Fahrenheit (or 190 degrees Celsius, if you prefer metric).
4
Transfer the salmon fillets to a large sheet of aluminum foil. Spoon the marinade over the top and fold the foil upwards, creating a sealed package. Place the sealed foil packs on a baking sheet.
5
Bake the salmon in the preheated oven until it flakes easily with a fork, taking around 35 to 45 minutes.
6
Serve the salmon hot and indulge in its delicious flavors!
