Ingredients
- 1 pound soybean sprouts
- 1/4 cup sesame oil
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons Korean chile powder
- 2 teaspoons sesame seeds
- 1 1/2 teaspoons garlic, minced
- 1/4 cup chopped green onion
- 2 teaspoons rice wine vinegar, or to taste
Instructions
1
Acquire all necessary components.
2
Boil a substantial container of salted water until it reaches its maximum temperature; introduce bean sprouts and cook, uncovered, until they become tender but retain a crisp texture, approximately 15 seconds.
3
Transfer the bean sprouts to a strainer and then plunge them immediately into an ice bath for several minutes in order to halt the cooking process. Thoroughly drain and set the bean sprouts aside.
4
Combine sesame oil, soy sauce, Korean chile powder, sesame seeds, and garlic in a large mixing vessel.
5
Mix the bean sprouts with the dressing mixture and toss to coat; sprinkle with green onions and season with rice wine vinegar. Refrigerate the dish before presenting it to your guests.
