Ingredients
- 1/2 pound beef brisket, cut into 2-inch pieces
- 1/2 cup soy sauce
- 1/4 cup white sugar
- 5 cloves garlic
- ground black pepper to taste
- 3 shishito peppers, or more to taste
- 3 hard boiled eggs, sliced, or more to taste
Instructions
1
Fill a large cooking vessel with water and introduce beef into it; heat it up until the mixture reaches a rolling boil.
2
Reduce the heat to a lower setting and let it simmer for approximately 30 minutes, or until the meat becomes tender enough to be pierced with a fork.
3
Add soy sauce, white sugar, minced garlic, and ground black pepper to the pot; stir everything together until the flavors blend in harmony, taking around 15 minutes.
4
Introduce shishito peppers and scrambled eggs into the beef mixture; continue to cook and stir until the meat becomes easily shredable with a fork and most of the liquid has evaporated, leaving about one-third of its original volume, taking roughly 15 minutes.
