Korean BBQ Bulgogi Beef
Ingredients
  • 3 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 1 tablespoon sesame seeds
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon white sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon monosodium glutamate (MSG)
  • 1 pound beef top sirloin, thinly sliced
  • 1 carrot, julienned
  • 1 green onion, chopped
  • 1/2 yellow onion, chopped

Combine the ingredients of your choice in a large, airtight container to create a marinade. This mixture should include soy sauce, sesame oil, sesame seeds, garlic, sugar, salt, black pepper, and MSG. Add the beef, carrots, and onions to the container; seal it tightly and then shake vigorously to evenly coat all of the vegetables and beef with the marinade. Store in the refrigerator for a minimum of 2 hours and 30 minutes, or overnight if you prefer.

Next, prepare your grill for high heat. Remove the meat and vegetables from the marinade and place them on a large sheet of aluminum foil; cover it with another layer to seal the contents. Discard the marinade, as it is no longer needed.

Place the sealed package on the grill and cook for 15 to 20 minutes, or until it reaches your desired level of doneness.
