- 1 red onion, chopped
- 14 ounces baby Brussels sprouts, trimmed and cut in half
- salt and ground black pepper to taste

Preheat the skillet by heating oil in a large pan over high heat. Introduce the sausage and onion into the pan, stirring constantly until the onion becomes transparent, taking around 8 to 10 minutes. Next, add the Brussels sprouts and continue cooking for an additional 10 minutes. Finally, season with salt and black pepper to taste.
