  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 1 cup barbecue sauce, divided

Preheat your outdoor grill to a medium, indirect heat setting and lightly coat the grill grates with oil.

Sprinkle tenderloins liberally with garlic powder, salt, and pepper to enhance flavor. In a small bowl, reserve half of the barbecue sauce for future use; set aside the remaining barbecue sauce for serving purposes.

Place the tenderloins on the preheated grill over indirect heat and cook for 30 minutes.

Using all of the barbecue sauce in the small bowl, brush the tenderloins with the sauce, flip them over, and then brush again to ensure even coverage. Continue cooking until an instant-read thermometer inserted into the center of the tenderloin reaches a temperature of 145 degrees F (63 degrees C), approximately 15 additional minutes. Remove the tenderloins from the grill and allow them to rest for 10 minutes.
