SERVINGS

Ingredients
- 1 pound ground beef
- 16 paper muffin liners
- salt and ground black pepper to taste
- 2 tablespoons mayonnaise
- 1 tablespoon ketchup
- 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
- 1 tablespoon sweet pickle relish
- 8 slider-size burger buns, cut almost through horizontally
- 8 slices roma (plum) tomato
Instructions
1
Prepare the workspace by laying out a flat surface and dividing the ground beef into 8 equal portions using a sharp knife or pastry cutter. Next, prepare the mini muffin tin by lining each cup with a paper liner and sprinkling a pinch of salt and black pepper onto the bottom of each liner.
2
Form each portion of ground beef into a rough ball and gently place it into the prepared muffin cup. Sprinkle a pinch of salt and pepper onto the top of each meatball for added flavor.
3
Place another paper liner on top of each meatball and press it gently downwards to shape the mini burger into a round, flat patty. Carefully remove the paper liner from each burger and discard.
4
Heat a large non-stick skillet over medium-high heat, allowing it to reach the optimal temperature. Cook the mini burgers in the hot skillet for approximately 3 minutes on each side, or until they achieve a browned crust and are slightly pink in the center. Flip the burgers over and cook for an additional 3 minutes on the other side.
5
Once cooked, remove the mini burgers from the skillet and place them on a plate to rest for 2 minutes.
6
In a separate bowl, combine mayonnaise, ketchup, mustard, and pickle relish. Spoon a small amount of the mixture onto each bun for added flavor.
7
Place the cooked mini burgers onto the buns and season with a pinch of black pepper for added taste. Top each burger with a slice of tomato and close the buns to serve.
