Combine warm water, sugar, and yeast in a large bowl to create a mixture. Allow it to sit for 10 minutes until it reaches a smooth consistency.

Add the remaining ingredients, including 2 cups of flour, oil, and salt, to the yeast mixture. Gradually incorporate the remaining 1/2 cup of flour into the dough, stirring until it has separated from the sides of the bowl.
