  • 1/2 onion, chopped
  • 3 cloves garlic
  • salt and ground black pepper to taste
  • 2 (15 ounce) cans tomato sauce
  • 2 (15 ounce) cans diced tomatoes
  • 2 1/2 cups water
  • 2 cups noodles
  • 3 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons Italian seasoning
  • 3 bay leaves

Turn on your pressure cooker and switch to its Saute mode. Add the beef, mushrooms, onion, garlic, salt, and pepper to the pot. Cook constantly, stirring occasionally, until the ingredients are nicely browned and have a crumbly texture, usually within 5 to 7 minutes. Dispose of the excess fat that has accumulated.

Next, add the tomato sauce, diced tomatoes, water, noodles, soy sauce, Italian seasoning, and bay leaves to the pot. Close the lid securely and ensure it is locked in place. Follow your pressure cooker's guidelines to set the high-pressure setting, and then set a timer for 4 minutes. Allow approximately 10 to 15 minutes for the pressure to reach its peak.

Carefully release the pressure using the quick-release method, as recommended by your pressure cooker's manufacturer. This should take around 5 minutes. Once the pressure has been released, unlock and remove the lid. Remove the bay leaves before serving your dish.
