Instant Pot Mississippi Pot Roast
Ingredients
  • 1 (14 ounce) can beef broth
  • 3 1/2 pounds beef chuck roast, cut into 3 or 4 chunks
  • 1 stick butter
  • 1/2 (16 ounce) jar pepperoncini peppers and juice
  • 1 (1 ounce) package ranch dressing mix
  • 1 (1 ounce) package dry onion soup mix
Instructions
1
Fill the versatile pressure cooker with beef broth, then add seasoned ground beef to the container. Sprinkle a packet of ranch seasoning and a packet of onion soup mix over the meat, followed by a pat of butter on top. Add sliced pepperoncini peppers and their juice to the pot as well.
2
Secure the lid tightly, then press the high pressure button and set the timer for 110 minutes according to the manufacturer's guidelines. Allow 10-15 minutes for the pressure to rise naturally.
3
Release the built-up pressure using the natural-release method, waiting anywhere from 10-40 minutes as instructed by the manufacturer.
