Ingredients
- 1 small yellow onion, diced
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 1 medium head cabbage, shredded
- 1 pound kielbasa sausage, sliced
- 2 cups chicken broth
- 1 (12 ounce) bag egg noodles
- salt and ground black pepper to taste
Instructions
1
Activate your pressure cooker by turning it on and selecting the Sauté mode. Next, add sliced onions along with a pat of butter into the pot and stir constantly until they reach a light golden brown color, approximately 1-2 minutes.
2
Then, add the chopped cabbage and sliced kielbasa to the pot; continue stirring until the cabbage has softened significantly, roughly 10 minutes.
3
Combine the chicken broth with the egg noodles in the pot to create a harmonious mixture.
4
Close and secure the lid of your pressure cooker, making sure it clicks into place. Follow the manufacturer's guidelines to set the High Pressure mode and set a timer for 3 minutes.
5
Allow about 10-15 minutes for the pressure to build up in your cooker.
6
To release the built-up pressure, carefully use the quick-release method as per the manufacturer's instructions, which should take around 5 minutes.
7
Once you've released the pressure, unlock and remove the lid from your cooker.
8
Finally, add a pinch of salt and some black pepper to taste, then serve the dish hot and enjoy immediately.
