Ingredients
- 1 cup cold water
- 1/4 cup lemon juice
- cooking spray
- 2 frozen salmon fillets
- salt and ground black pepper to taste

Acquire all necessary components.

Combine cold water and lemon juice in a versatile pressure cooking device, such as the Instant Pot. Insert a steamer basket within; lightly spray with cooking oil.

Position frozen salmon fillets, skin-side down, on the prepared basket. Seal and shut the lid.

Cook on the steam function until the fish breaks apart effortlessly with a fork, approximately 3 to 4 minutes. Release pressure using the fast-release technique as recommended by the manufacturer's guidelines, roughly 5 minutes. Open and remove the lid.
