Securely close and lock the lid of the device. According to the manufacturer's guidelines, set the pressure cooker to high pressure and schedule a 10-minute cooking time. Allow an additional 5 minutes for the pressure to reach its peak.

Carefully release the built-up pressure using the quick-release method, as specified by the manufacturer's instructions, approximately 5 minutes. Unlock and take off the lid of the device. Drain the excess liquid from the rutabaga. Put the rutabaga back into the pressure cooker or transfer it to a medium-sized bowl.
