Instant Pot Chicken Soup with Noodles
Ingredients
  • 2 boneless chicken breasts, cut into 2-inch pieces
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 1 cup chopped carrots
  • 2 stalks celery, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 6 cups chicken broth
  • 2 cups egg noodles
Instructions
1
Combine the chicken breast or thighs with sliced onions, chopped carrots, and diced celery in a versatile pressure cooker. Sprinkle salt, garlic powder, and black pepper over the ingredients for added flavor.
2
Next, pour in a sufficient amount of chicken broth to cover all the ingredients; mix everything together. Securely close and lock the lid on your pressure cooker.
3
Follow the manufacturer's guidelines to set the high-pressure mode; also, set a timer according to your cooker's instructions for 10 minutes. Allow about 10-15 minutes for the pressure inside the pot to build up.
4
After waiting, carefully release the built-up pressure using the quick-release method as per your cooker's instructions; this should take around 5 minutes. Once you've released the pressure, unlock and carefully remove the lid from your pressure cooker.
5
Switch to the Sauté function on your pressure cooker, and add egg noodles into the pot. Simmer everything together until the egg noodles become tender, approximately 6 minutes later.
